High impact report on waste in the church

A damning report by Professors Gill and Craven identifies that since 2020 stipendiary clergy have declined by 40% whereas diocesan employees (excluding clergy) have increased by 80%. Donations have fallen by 20% They point out in stark terms that any charity that increases costs while donations are reducing is doomed unless bold corrective action is taken.
